462 Squadron RAAF MZ-447 HALIFAX MZ-447 took off from Foulsham at 16.58 hours on the 24th February 1945 to mingle with a diversionary sweep heading towards northern France and consisting of mainly aircraft from the training establishments. Shot down by Flak, crashing about 2130 at Boisheim, 4 km SE of Breyell, Germany, and a mere 7 km or so E of the border with Holland. |
