Target: Special duties, bombing raid. Target: Leipzig Germany.

NA240 crashed into a small village named Zaasch near Delitzsch Germany whilst on route to Leipzig for special duties. Rear Gunner Max Hibberd was the only crew member to survive, those killed were Alf Ball, Murray Frank, Neil Evans, John Tait, Fred Brooks, Ron Taylor, John Heggarty.
