On the 10th August 2002,  the main runway at Sydney International Airport was blocked with a  disabled British Airways 747 which had a fire in its forward cargo hold. VH-OJH was then instructed by the tower to use the much shorter runway 34R, the result as depicted in this painting was spectacular.
